Ladies night

One of the nicest things about the holidays? Hang outs with the friends who’ve come home! I mean, unless you live in a situation where your friends actually all leave during the holidays, in which case… uh, sorry.

Candice is home from Toronto which obviously means ladies night. (Obviously.) On top of wine and hours of talk (it’s like a chick flick all up in here) we’re also doing a lot of planning for the new year, specifically with regards to our travel project. We’ve cooking up all kinds of ideas for The Let’s Go Ladies like future posts, new content ideas and even planning for our next big trip (and maybe even some smaller ones).

Awwww! (Also, I have no idea what the blue business on my braces is all about. I’d highly recommend that anyone who meets me in the future avoid looking directly at them just in case the reflect light into your eyes and BLIND YOU).

We’ve had a great first few months with the blog – we’ve connected with so many cool people and already some great opportunities (Jasper Dark Sky Festival anybody?) and we’re geeking out about all the things we can do next to grow the project. It’s also really exciting to be planning our next trip, especially seeing as it’s our first international adventure (we’re headed on a whirlwind tour of the U.K! Suggestions, tips and advice welcome!) At the rate we’re going, 2014 is shaping up to be a great year.

Have you checked out The Let’s Go Ladies yet? Is there anything cool you’d like to see us do or write about? Or do you have any tips for our trip to the U.K? Tell me all about it in the comments!
